With a sponsorship, your own family becomes a little bigger.

We help children find a way out of poverty and develop into self-determined adults – this is only possible with our team of employees, volunteers, partners, donors and sponsors.

• 1,600 euros a year covers the basic needs of a child in the children's village of the Kinderhilfe Kambodscha e.V. – for food, clothing, school attendance, medical care, transport to school and more.

• 390 euros a year pays for a place for a child in our street children programme, where the children receive a warm meal every day and are looked after before or after school.

• Of course, you can also finance a partial amount – we appreciate every amount!

 

With a sponsorship, you provide targeted and sustainable support

 

• You give children a loving home in the children's village or you secure a place in our street children's programme.

• Your sponsorship contribution goes directly to the children's village or the street children's programme of Children's Aid Cambodia.

• Your help contributes sustainably to the development of the community and the country.

• As a sponsor of Children's Aid Cambodia, you will receive an annual report on developments in the children's village and the street children's programme.

• We guarantee that your sponsorship contribution will go directly to the children.

• You will receive a donation receipt for the sponsorship contribution for submission to the tax office.

 

Why we do not arrange 1:1 sponsorships

The sponsorships are aimed at strengthening the community, which is why the sponsors are not assigned to a single child. The children should be strengthened in their self-confidence and in their sense of self-determination and autonomy. We want to avoid them feeling dependent on the support of a single sponsor. It would also be difficult to cushion the disappointment of children who do not have a sponsor. Support that can be terminated at any time for various reasons can lead to insecurity in children. After all, no child should feel excluded if they cannot be referred to a sponsor.
